Asmita joined us last month and she became the first postdoctoral trainee in the placenta group (officially!) and I celebrated my first birthday as a PI #37!

Lisa got us some delicious bundt cakes to celebrate after our group meeting, and later, I got some surprise tickets to enjoy "The Price is Right Live!" show with friends! There was no "Come on down!" for us but we had a great time together!
Stay tuned next month as we welcome a new trainee and attend several important conferences about our favorite organ.
